Boosteroid
Boosteroid review
Browser-first cloud gaming, no client required
Tested on a 100 Mbps wired connection · methodology
Overview
Boosteroid is the value pick. The streaming infrastructure is solid for 1080p / 60, the supported game list keeps growing, and the 'just open a browser tab' experience is genuinely friction-free.

Browser-only is the killer feature. Works on my school Chromebook. Can't believe this is real.
Frequently asked questions
Do I bring my own games to Boosteroid?
Yes. Boosteroid streams games you already own on Steam, Epic, Ubisoft Connect, EA, GOG, Wargaming, Riot and Battle.net. There is no included catalog.
Is there a Boosteroid client to install?
No, that's the appeal. Boosteroid runs entirely in a modern browser tab — no client, no plugin, just a URL. There is also a thin Android wrapper available.
Why is Boosteroid cheaper than competitors?
Boosteroid runs at 1080p/60 only — no 4K, no high refresh rates. The hardware per session is also less expensive to provision than GeForce Now Ultimate's RTX 4080 rigs.
Does Boosteroid have a free tier?
No. Boosteroid is paid-only. The cheapest path is the Quarterly plan, which works out to about $6.66/month.
How is Boosteroid's coverage in Europe?
Excellent. Boosteroid is European in origin and has unusually good coverage in Eastern Europe and the Nordics, including a Stockholm data centre opened in April 2026.
