Best cloud gaming service for low-latency competitive play
Cloud gaming and competitive shooters used to be incompatible. That has changed — for one service.
Latency 101
End-to-end latency in cloud gaming is the sum of network round-trip, server-side render time, encode, and client decode. Anything above ~50ms is felt; under ~30ms is competitive-viable.
Only GeForce Now clears the bar
GeForce Now Ultimate's NVIDIA Reflex integration plus 240Hz-capable rigs hit ~28ms in our tests on a wired 100Mbps connection. No other service we tested came close.
