We download a 6 MB sample from a Vercel edge location and measure actual end-to-end throughput — no rounding up, no marketing math. Result tells you which streaming tiers you can realistically run.
How this differs from speedtest.net
Generic speed tests measure peak burst throughput in a 30-second window. Cloud gaming cares about sustained throughput plus jitter and packet loss. This test runs three short downloads and reports the best of two measurements — closer to a worst-case for a well-behaved connection.
